So much of what goes on in traditional schools is behaviorist teaching consisting of authoritarian assignments, lectures, textbooks and regurgitation. It is refreshing to find a design structure that fits the constructivist idea of adults coaching and kids and teens building, constructing, and working on projects across the world. If this is the design of both the classroom and the learning commons/library, then students take ownership of their learning as an assumed life skill.
