I FEEL THAT THE ONLY WAY A CHILD CAN LEARN IS IF THEY IS SAFE. I DON'T THINK THAT ANY CHILD
SHOULD BE AFRAID AND WORRYING ABOUT IF THEY ARE GOING TO GET JUMPED TODAY. SOME KIDS GET JUMPED AND ET THEY CLOTHES TAKEN OFF THEIR BACK BECAUSE OF THE OTHER PERSON WANT TO BE THE TOUGH GUY . SCHOOL'S SHOULDN'T HAVE TO HAVE POLICE STATIONS IN THEM STUDENTS SHOULD ALL COME TO SCHOOL FOR ONE PUPOSE AND THAT IS TO LEARN
Yes, while the utmost security is imperative for schools, it should not distract or become an obstacle for students. Security was a major element of our design for Ralph Ellison High School on the southside of Chicago. School leaders were philosophically against metal detectors, as they believe that metal detectors convey the negative message of a dangerous, closed environment. The use of glass as a means of security through the “eyes on the street” concept creates an environment that is safe in its openness.
PUT SAFETY BEFORE STUDY
