Architects need to design play into the learning commons/library physical and in the virtual learning commons design. Things to do and enjoy everywhere attracts interest to the physical and virtual facility. For example, in one high school learning commons in Chelmsford MA, every few weeks, the learning commons has listening lunches where often 200 students bring their lund, sit on the carpet and enjoy performances from their peers. These are archived on the virtual learning commons for playback at any time. Such activity/play becomes part of the virtual school yearbook.
